The Jet3270 applet is big - 630 kB if you use Microsoft Internet Explorer and 760 kB if you use Netscape Navigator

It can take a long time before you see the mainframe logon screen.

This only happens the first time you use Jet to connect to the mainframe; next time it should take less than 60 seconds.

Please be patient, you are saving time in scouring the 'net for software and installing it on your PC.
